Daniel 1:18-21

God of Who We Want to Be When We Grow Up, Most of us aren’t grown up yet. Some of us are resisting the notion like the plague. The worst of us never know the difference between maturity and childishness. Encourage us, O God, to ask ourselves the question more often. Who DO we want to BE when we grow up? Today may we choose to be found grown up in wisdom and understanding. Lord, you know our world could use fewer magicians and enchanters and more Daniels. Amen.
