Holy Ground. Barefeet Welcome
Genesis 7: 1-5
“…Noah did all that the Lord had commanded him.”
God of Specific and General, you commanded Noah to do something specific: build and ark to save his family and a bunch of creatures from a flood. Not an easy task. Lots of details, but as the story goes, he did it. You commanded us to love one another. Pretty general. You left the specifics up to us. How are we doing? Can you send a sign? A rainbow? A dove with a branch in its beak? A yellow arrow? At least we would like to know we are on the way than completely lost. Thanks. Amen.
